This was my Summer knitting project, a fairly easy pattern by Marie Wallin. I have used Rowan Felted Tweed yarns

Weather change

Brrrr -  I am so pleased to wear my hat, cowl and gloves that I finished knitting last Autumn.... 

I knitted this set from a kit by Alice Starmore Hat designs are in the Accessory section.

Berries galore

The end of Summer brings forth berries galore to delight our senses and keep us busy................

Not quite a chrysalis. Caterpillars of the Mullein Moth chomping through Great Mullein plants that self-sow in the garden........

Finished at last !

Knitting in the fair-isle style required all my concentration. 

this is a Debbie Bliss pattern but I have used alternative yarns  from Jamieson & Smith.

norfolk inspiration

September colour for inspiring knitting patterns, Tansy and Feverfew from Norfolk with a Russet apple from Suffolk. I would like to make a design from these colours - possibly with a fair-isle style pattern. I love the scent of Tansy and Feverfew, I think they might be related, the texture of a russet apple has to be experienced!
