Berries galore

The end of Summer brings forth berries galore to delight our senses and keep us busy................

Take care - get to know your berries, check they are edible before using
Bonne Sante!

weeds

weeds from the wilderness. Finding little jewels of colour between the nettles......

Not quite a chrysalis. Caterpillars of the Mullein Moth chomping through Great Mullein plants that self-sow in the garden........

mallow

Mallow and Campion - late September flowering in my wilderness -
here I am sampling ideas to create my own designs.

norfolk inspiration

September colour for inspiring knitting patterns, Tansy and Feverfew from Norfolk with a Russet apple from Suffolk. I would like to make a design from these colours - possibly with a fair-isle style pattern. I love the scent of Tansy and Feverfew, I think they might be related, the texture of a russet apple has to be experienced!
